Dr. K. A. Vivek, MD (General Medicine), DM (Hepatology), is a dedicated Hepatologist with specialized expertise in liver diseases, transplant hepatology, and advanced endoscopic procedures. He completed his DM in Hepatology from Madras Medical College under The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and earned his MD in General Medicine from Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalai University.

Dr. Vivek has received extensive training in hepatology and transplant hepatology, with observerships at some of India’s leading hepatology centers including Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, Rela Institute and Medical Centre, and Christian Medical College Vellore. His clinical expertise includes the management of complex liver diseases and transplant hepatology. He has also received extensive training in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, having performed around 2500 endoscopic procedures including variceal ligation, glue therapy, and colonoscopy.

In addition to his clinical excellence, Dr. Vivek has contributed to medical research with publications focusing on acute-on-chronic liver failure and infection-related outcomes.
